Blackstone Stripout is looking to form collaborative relationships with clients, architects, stakeholders, and partner organisations who share our vision for sustainable construction methods. Together, we aspire to working practices that meet our responsibility towards the reducing the shameful amount of construction waste material that still makes its way to landfill or energy costly recycling processes.
Our strategy emphasises resource efficiency. We meticulously plan our stripout processes to reduce waste generation and enhance material reuse and recycling. Salvaging materials for reuse-thereby diverting them from landfills and, where possible, avoiding energy-intensive recycling processes-is fundamental to our approach.
Whether through a formal Pre-Demolition Audit or via our in-house assessments, we identify and advise on materials that can be carefully deconstructed and potentially used onsite in future fitouts, or those that can be repurposed through our developed network of charities and specialists.
Materials may either be processed directly from the site or transferred to our Repurposing Hub for distribution.
